For sixteen years, FILHR has served as a platform for connection, collaboration, and professional growth among Filipino HR practitioners across the UAE. This year, we proudly celebrated this milestone under the theme “One Ohana, One Vision: 16 Years of Connecting HR Leaders in the UAE.”

Held at Mama Shelter Dubai, the celebration embodied the spirit of ohana or family, recognizing the relationships, partnerships, and shared purpose that have strengthened the Filipino HR community over the years.

The evening brought together HR professionals, partners, and community leaders for a memorable programme that featured opening remarks from Armilee Sastrillo, an inspiring keynote address by Ericson Reyes, the oath taking of new FILHR affiliates, and the recognition of individuals and partners who have contributed to the continued growth of the organization. The celebration culminated in the symbolic “Cheers to Sweet 16” One Ohana Cake Cutting Ceremony, representing sixteen years of unity, collaboration, and shared vision within the Filipino HR community in the UAE.

The event was made even more special through the generosity of our community partners. Our sincere appreciation goes to Abela & Co for sponsoring the anniversary cake and raffle prizes, and to Xnture for providing the FILHR backdrop and raffle prizes.
